Bro what the fuck are the writers doing. Qin Chen acts presumtuous every single scene, now that only a handful of enemies approach him in a secluded area, they anger him by talking trash about his girl and he tells them they are seeking death but then immediately orders retreat.
Is he weaker or stronger than the enemies? He acts as if he is stronger, so why is he running? Isn't this the perfect opportunity to reduce the enemy headcount?

I understand the art of war appear strong when you are weak, but I get so bored watching this Demon Sword Inheritance because it's 90% talking, but there is absolutely no introspection from Qin Chen.

Wait next episode. This is one time when QC totally failed. Tried to hide skills and brute force it, almost got wasted, tried to escape, failed escaping and now he will be forced to be serious

Since he is a newcomer it absolutely makes sense that he wants to hide his strength, but then it makes zero sense when Qin Chen goes around slapping people and insulting them.
When he hides his strength and insults someone, they see a weak person who they then come to punish which forces him to reveal his strength or die. Not the smartest strategy in my honest opinion.

I feel like you either hide your strength and play a dummy to placate all the arrogant pricks, or you go full power to beat everyone.
Maybe you can toe the line, but then you would have to get rid of evidence and witnesses, not let small problems become big problems like we've seen in the past tens of episodes.

Acttually, after revenge is over. He constantly becomes cockier and brutal. Like for example how he deals with Qilin Prince who pretty much did nothing but said few words too much and then challenged him (in about 6-7 years with this progress??). He insults him before fight, he beats the shit out of him, he insults and degrades him while he is down, beats him again and then QC finds it funny to kill him while still keeps saying jokes on his corpse

Well I think that's what everyone is looking for to happen every single time he encounters people against him, which in one word is stupid. Literally new arc, just got to Mid Stage MK aint even trained much since, in a new territory with persons in the Martial Emperor realm, he has no power established yet or anything or anyone to depend on besides one Demon at the rank 8 ME realm and people think he should kill everyone including persons with backgrounds he possibly cannot overcome now. The stupidity is quite overwhelming.

It's extremely bizarre to see QC running away from his enemies, but imma chalk that up to the weapon being the issue. Cause ain't no way these guys are more powerful than that girl's aunt.

Not past life, this life. Whole time in this realm something nagged at him how he is missing important clue. Spear is just part of that, but not as much as he actually really almost fucked up when he was hiding skills and tried to brute force it. And poor spear guy also fucked up since he didn't let him escape. Clues about that will be at top of the tower not long from now.

This realm, spear, nagging feeling... are next major clue into arc2 (ancient war) introduction which happens during arc 1. These clues will slowly mansplain who the enemy was (or wasn't, in the end neither side were bad guys and both were basically competing who is more sorry ass mf, but most importantly both had excellent no choice reasons), why the attack happened and what was the conclusion which is basis for arc2 development. The devils are really awesomely presented in this novel. True an/pro/whatever-the-fuck/tagonists. It is very rare authors ever take time to put out such a nice plot with so many excellent characters. Even more so later when things are obvious for both sides

cool thanks for the info ive never read the story before so i was going off what i had seen in this episode. many of these shows have great stories even when the 3d used to be much worse i loved watching for the story
